A Bit About Me

So hello people of the world who will not read this blog but hopefully will. My name is Bri, I'm currently 16 years old and attending a High School with a wonderful theatrical program. I've only now decided to blog about it because I'm halfway through my high school career. I am very much involved with the theatre aspect of my life because, quite frankly, it's the only thing I am remotely good at. We just finished up a production of RENT: School Edition directed by the well-known choreographer Larry Sousa-- that was wonderful.

So, I have decided that on this blog, I will share my experiences in a typical High School Theatrical setting. Just a note: I'm just getting around to this now because I AM so involved in theatre. Now that the theatre season is over, I don't know what to do with myself!) I will be blogging about the Summer Camp for Theatre Arts I will be working at this summer and I'll be talking about the kids there and how the shows are doing. This year, we are performing "Children of Eden" and Jason Robert Brown's, "Songs for a New World". Unfortunately, I am not able to take part in either of the actual performances since i'm like, 4 years older than the oldest camper, but It will be fun working on them all just the same!!

Well, stay tuned for updates on the Academy Awards (my school's theatre award program), TAMY awards, and everything else! I'll be posting later this week about those. And in a few weeks, I'll talk about how finals in Advanced Acting class go :P

Thanks for reading!!
Love,
Bri :D
